About Andrew
Hi, I’m Andrew – a UK DMC Champion (World 3rd place) and a music educator with over 25 years of experience in DJing, music production, performance, and teaching. I’ve taught at degree level, in colleges, and through private tuition, helping students of all ages and backgrounds develop technical skill, creativity, and confidence. I specialise in DJing (CDJ, vinyl, scratching), songwriting, vocal delivery, music production across genres, and sound engineering. My lessons are tailored to suit different learning styles, whether you're a visual, auditory, technical or creative thinker. My aim is to empower students by combining real-world industry knowledge with structured, supportive teaching. Whether you're a complete beginner or an emerging artist, I’ll help you grow both musically and professionally.

Not only will you learn the fundamentals of DJing, but also develop the qualities needed to become a breakthrough artist. I’ve designed teaching techniques that cater to all learning styles—whether you’re a visual, auditory, technical, or creative thinker, I’ll break down concepts in a way that makes sense to you. With extensive experience teaching 1-to-1, in college, and at degree level, I offer professional guidance at every step of your journey. What you'll learn: DJing: Master CDJs, vinyl, and both basic and advanced mixing and scratching techniques. Music Production: Produce across genres, refine your vocal recording and comping, develop songwriting and delivery. Technical Skills: Learn sound selection, synthesis, sampling, and essential music theory. Lessons are typically 60 minutes, but can be tailored to suit your needs. Suitable for all levels—from complete beginners to advanced learners—whether you're looking to DJ, produce, or polish your sound as a recording artist.
