About Brandon
I am a doctor, Respiratory Medicine Advanced Trainee, Clinical Lecturer and incoming Fulbright Postdoctoral Scholar at NYU Langone Health. I hold a PhD and Master of Clinical Education and have extensive experience in medical education, research, supervision and professional development.
Alongside clinical medicine, I have built a substantial academic portfolio, with more than 150 peer-reviewed publications, competitive research funding, national research awards and experience presenting research in a range of professional settings. I am also a Co-Founder and Co-Director of Australian Med AI.
I have personally been through numerous competitive selection processes across medicine, research, scholarships and academia, including physician training and the Fulbright Scholarship. This experience has given me a strong understanding of what makes an applicant credible, memorable and persuasive in a high-stakes interview.
Teaching has been an important part of my career for many years. My aim is not to give people scripted answers to memorize. I enjoy helping people recognize the strengths already present in their own experience, communicate those strengths clearly, and become more comfortable responding thoughtfully when the conversation moves beyond the questions they prepared for.
I work with medical school applicants, doctors, researchers, scholarship candidates and professionals preparing for important interviews or presentations.

I tailor each session to the interview you are preparing for, your experience, and the areas where you need the most improvement.
My approach is practical rather than formulaic. We work through realistic interview questions, refine the structure and content of your answers, identify stronger examples from your own experience, and improve how you communicate under pressure. I focus on helping you sound clear, confident and authentic rather than rehearsed.
Sessions can include mock interviews, detailed feedback, difficult follow-up questions, development of key examples, application and CV review, and preparation for common behavioral, ethical, leadership and motivation questions.
Most sessions are 60 minutes, with longer 90-minute mock interview sessions also available.
I am a doctor and Respiratory Medicine Advanced Trainee, with a PhD, Master of Clinical Education and experience as a Clinical Lecturer. I am also an incoming Fulbright Postdoctoral Scholar and have successfully navigated competitive medical training, research, scholarship and academic selection processes/interviews.
