About Lucy
I'm a doctor, mum of three, and over-achiever!
I have a 1st BA Hons in Drama & Theatre Arts, a Distinction in my MA in Acting. I came second in my year when graduating from medical school, with a range of prizes including Distinctions in every year and the Paediatrics Prize. I was a nominee for the Timothy Northfield Prize for Medicine, and was Proxime Accessit to the London Gold Medal. I have won a range of postgraduate awards, most recently for teaching.
I have experience in panel interviews, MMI, aptitude exams (GAMSAT and UKCAT (now UCAT)), medical school exams and OSCEs, and the MSRA. I have tutored successful medical students for their exams, and AFP applicants. I recently completed the Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education.
I won't just help you do well, I'll help you tackle any underlying issues with time-management, confidence, and study techniques.
I can use acting techniques from my training and career before medicine, to help you prepare for OSCEs and interviews.
With a personal insight into balancing work and home, I'm also a great choice for those with lots of extracurricular activities, or mature students.

With a unique approach to teaching informed by my first career and training in acting, I will help you or your child achieve place at medical school, or applicants to competitive post graduate training programmes.
Taking into account the length of time you have until your exam or interview, I will structure a programme to make the most of our sessions.
During these one hour online sessions, you will have the undivided attention of a working doctor.
I aim for you to feel positive, and even excited! Above all you can feel prepared ahead of your next challenge whichever of the above that may be.
