About Sunwoo
I have had the honor of working with a wide range of students, varying in age, level, and musical goals. I grew up in the New England Conservatory Preparatory School in Boston, MA, and was incredibly lucky to have been exposed to various teachers and pedagogical methods. I am a passionate advocator for arts education as its incredible benefits to developing non-musical skills such as discipline, expression, and communication at all ages. I was born in South Korea and have lived there part-time for the past ten years, so I am able to teach effectively in both Korean and English depending on the student's needs.
I regularly perform in both America and Korea, though I am currently based in Los Angeles for the duration of my Doctoral degree.
