About Nora
I am a Ph.D. student researching modern and contemporary women's literature at the University of Aberdeen. I have an MA in Creative Writing from University College Cork and an M.Litt. in Theology and the Arts from the University of St Andrews.
As a poet and writer, I am very excited to help students experience the magic of words. I have lived in five different countries and am deeply curious about the world. I have experience tutoring writing in the United States, as well as drafting English exam materials for students in Japan.
I believe teaching is about learning from each other. I would be delighted to come alongside you as we discover how to communicate our thoughts and ideas clearly and powerfully.

I tutor high school and undergraduate students in history, English, and writing skills. I have experience working as a writing center tutor and teaching assistant at Gordon College. I enjoy tutoring students in a flexible, conversational, and workshop-style context. Lessons typically last 45 minutes to an hour.
