About Sofie
Hi! I'm a university student at the University of Aberdeen, and a graduate of Hunter School of the Performing Arts, where I achieved a Band 6 in Drama for my Higher School Certificate. I’ve been tutoring Drama since 2021, working with students across Australia and the UK at Years 10, 11, and 12 levels.
As a tutor, I focus on making sessions dynamic, personalised, and encouraging—whether you need support with written assessments or want to refine your performance techniques. I love helping students tap into their creativity and find their voice in both practical and analytical tasks.
I’ve completed CPD-accredited tutor training through the Qualified Tutor platform, covering safeguarding, assessment for learning, collaboration, professionalism, inclusive leadership, and how to support students with learning difficulties.

My tutoring sessions are designed to support each student’s creative and academic strengths—whether you're focusing on monologue performance, devised group work, theatrical analysis, or theory.
In our first session, you'll complete a tailored questionnaire that helps me understand your current topics, learning style, upcoming deadlines, and personal goals. From there, I create a lesson plan designed just for you.
Lessons typically last one hour and are held online, making them accessible for students across Australia. I’ve worked with Drama students from Years 10 to 12 in both Australia and the UK since 2021, helping them with both practical and written components of their courses.
I’ve completed a CPD-accredited tutor training course through the Qualified Tutor platform, including modules on safeguarding children, assessment for learning, inclusive leadership, respectful collaboration, and working with students with learning difficulties.
Whether you’re preparing for a major performance, a reflective essay, or practical exams, I’m here to help you grow your skills and confidence.
