About Emily
I’ve been working as a professional actor for several years now, securing credits with the BBC and Netflix. Alongside screen work, I have strong stage experience, including experience in musical theatre and Shakespeare.
I’m also a writer and have written and performed my own work at theatres in London, as well as producing theatre festivals.
I trained at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire (BA Hons Acting) and went on to complete my Master’s in Musical Theatre at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts.
This wider view of the industry helps me guide students not just towards getting in, but towards building sustainable, thoughtful careers. So from speeches to selftapes, writing and auditioning, ask me anything!
I also have ADHD and know firsthand how it can affect every part of the audition process, therefore I want offer insight and understanding, as well as a space to talk through worries or concerns.

In a 45-minute session, we’ll work together to get you feeling confident, prepared, and ready for your drama school audition. Whether you’ve already picked your pieces or don’t know where to start, I’ll help you explore classical and contemporary speeches and song selection, as well as acting through song. I have a wide selection of material at hand, so we can find pieces that truly suit you and highlight your strengths.
In our sessions, we’ll cover:
- Choosing and refining material that suits you.
- Text analysis and character work.
- Acting through song.
- Audition technique and panel awareness.
- Managing nerves and staying centred on the day.
- Talking through questions, concerns and school-specific requirements.
My goal is to give you support, guidance, and peace of mind, so you can walk into the audition room feeling fully prepared, grounded, and completely yourself.
