About Your Lesson – Eshika’s Tutoring Approach
Hi! I’m Eshika, a 16-year-old sophomore at Collierville High School. I’ve studied in Bangladesh, Cordova, and now the U.S., so I understand how math is taught from multiple perspectives. This helps me explain difficult concepts like algebra and arithmetic in clear, simple ways that actually make sense.
Teaching Method and Techniques
My approach is student-centered. I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons using:
• Visuals (charts, diagrams)
• Step-by-step problem solving
• Real-life examples
• Quick quizzes for revision
I focus on building confidence, not just solving problems.
Typical Lesson Plan
Each session is around 45–60 minutes and includes:
1. Warm-up: 5-minute review of last lesson
2. Concept Breakdown: Clear explanation with examples
3. Practice Problems: We solve problems together, then you try on your own
4. Quick Recap: Summary and short quiz
Homework support and test prep available on request!
What Sets Me Apart
• I’m close in age, so I relate easily to student struggles and explain things in a friendly, pressure-free way.
• I’ve succeeded in both Bangladeshi and U.S. math systems, so I know how to simplify complex ideas from both approaches.
• I create a positive learning environment that helps students feel confident and motivated.
Who the Lessons Are For
• Middle school and early high school students (Grades 5–10)
• Anyone struggling with arithmetic, algebra, fractions, equations, or word problems
• Students who need extra support, homework help, or a confidence boost in math
