About Carlos
Having a great interest in arts and music since I was young, I found my passion and a calling for drums at a very young age. Since I was 17, I started playing with my friends and that decision has led me down on a path with incredible experiences that have strengthened my purpose of being a professional musician and drummer. I have been lucky of recording in professional studios and have multiple live performances, today I play in three original musical projects where I feel very motivated. With all this experience, I now want to pass it on to other people.
As a teacher, my goal is for you to enjoy every lesson while building a solid technical foundation. I want drumming to become an exciting experience for you (as it is for me), where you progress steadily and safely.
If you want to play your favorite songs, develop your creativity and gain confidence on the instrument, I'll wait for you in class!

Throughout my career I have learned with different methods, from classes with teachers to composing original songs. My classes are designed so that learning is progressive and practical. I use a methodology based on:
- Hand and foot technique exercises for greater control and speed
- Music reading applied to drums, from the basics to fluent interpretation of scores
- Application of knowledge in songs of different genres such as rock, funk, pop, metal and jazz
- Use of the metronome and its application in different musical contexts
- Developing your own style and sound as a drummer
Each session is dynamic and personalized according to the student's level. The class is divided into three parts:
Warm-up and technique: basic exercises, stick control and coordination
Applied theory: rhythmic reading, analysis of grooves and fills
Practice with songs: rhythm interpretation and musical development
