About Jodie
I am a Music Gradate from Durham University. I have some experience in private tutoring from brass instrumental lessons for primary children - in which most students achieved high merit to distinction in their ABRSM Music exams - and GCSE Maths tutoring - in which most students achieved C and above.

I aim to adapt my teaching methodology depending on the individual needs of the students and the topic. I usually work with an existing resource (textbook, exercises etc.) but create my own where necessary. My usual methodology for composition and arranging consists of theory and exercises. My approach to musicology, however, consists of a lesson covering the concepts of the topic followed by guided readings and questions for the student to answer.
