About Thomas
¡Mucho gusto! My name is Tom and I graduated from world famous Durham University in 2005 with a university prize in Spoken Spanish.
My degree was in Modern European Languages, French and Spanish). Before attending Durham, I followed the UK curriculum in Hertfordshire, and then Hills Road Sixth Form College in Cambridge, obtaining 4 A's (highest grade available) in my 'A' levels.
I started studying Spanish when I was 14 and am living testimony that you can master a language as a non-native by dint of hard work, interest and enthusiasm.
Throughout a langauge teaching career of over 15 years at prestigious institutions in both the UK and Spain, I have obtained excellent feedback on my classes from hundreds of satisfied students.
I know what it takes to get candidates through language exams and beyond and I try to make this process a comfortable, thorough, enriching and enjoyable one for my learners.
