About Miss Francesca
My name is Francesca Singh, I am 18 years old. I am currently studying Theology and religion at Durham university. But I have a real passion and love for acting. I have had one to one lessons in acting over the years through the exams I have done; so I have picked up a lot of feedback from being 11. I would love to help you with drama in school, if your studying acting at a lower level or even at GCSE standard. If you are preparing for a LAMDA exam, I have been participating in these for the past seven years, so can help develop different acting styles and understanding of character for performance. I have gained so much confidence by studying drama and doing exams but It also makes me so happy and excited to get the opportunity to play different characters. Hopefully I can help you develop as a young performer exploring wonderful plays with fantastically complex characters.

I would have 45 minute lessons, focusing on what the student wants to focus on whether that be a piece of acting or looking at questions relating to characterisation. The best way to help the student is to be guided by what they what to focus on each week. I have done my grade 2,3,4,5,6 and currently working toward grade seven acting exams through LAMDA. I have done many monologues over my teen years and understand the importance of characterisation, physicality and proxemics. I can teach from 12-18 as I have experience from GCSE and A Level in drama and English literature. By having an understanding on how the character impacts the play, this can benefit a individual monologue of the character.
