About Nhu Y
Hi, I’m Nhu — a native Dutch speaker with a multilingual background. I grew up speaking Dutch, Vietnamese, and Teochew (Chinese dialect), so I truly understand what it’s like to learn and switch between languages. Language has always helped me connect with people and cultures, and that’s why I love teaching — to help others feel that same connection and confidence. My students choose me for my personalized, relaxed approach and because I create a safe space where making mistakes is part of the process. I’m here to support you in learning Dutch in a way that feels useful, encouraging, and fun.

My Teaching Method I offer casual, conversational lessons focused on real-life Dutch you can use right away. Lessons are personalized to your needs, and you’re welcome to bring your own materials or interests. I create a relaxed space where making mistakes is part of the learning process. Lesson Length Most lessons are 60 minutes, but I’m flexible based on your goals. My Experience I’m a native Dutch speaker, born and raised in the Netherlands, now living in Australia. I speak Dutch, Vietnamese, Teochew dialect, and Mandarin (basic). I have experience helping beginners learn Dutch in a supportive, practical way.
