About Stetson
I am an experienced ESL tutor with 12 years of teaching experience, working with High School and College students. I have successfully taught 150–200 students and take pride in helping them transform challenges into success.
A key milestone in my career has been guiding students who were hesitant or unsure about English to achieve academic improvement and confidence in communication. Seeing them succeed motivates me and reinforces my passion for teaching.
My teaching methodology is structured, clear, and personalised. I break lessons into manageable steps, explain grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking in simple language, and provide practical exercises that encourage active learning. I adapt each lesson to match the student’s pace, goals, and learning style.
I create a supportive and motivating environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and practising actively. I emphasise effort, consistency, and growth, celebrating every step of progress along the way.
My mission as an ESL tutor is to help students achieve academic excellence, communicate confidently, and develop lifelong skills in English. Teaching allows me to make a lasting and meaningful impact.

I teach ESL using real-life examples and case studies to make English practical and relevant. My approach is student-focused, adapting lessons to each learner’s pace, style, and interests. Motivation is central—I encourage students to set goals, track progress, and celebrate achievements.
Problem-solving exercises strengthen critical thinking and allow learners to use English confidently in real-life situations. Integrity guides my teaching—I provide honest feedback and maintain a safe, supportive, and respectful environment.
Besides ESL, I also teach grammar, writing, reading, and conversation skills. My goal is to help students gain confidence, independence, and practical English skills they can use every day.
