About Joy
My interest in guitar started with a deep love for rhythm and melody. I pursued this passion by completing a Master’s Degree in Guitar Studies. Over the past 8 years, I have worked with students at different levels, helping them build confidence and strong musical foundations. Teaching allows me to guide learners in a structured and supportive way.
My teaching style is clear, flexible, and student-focused. I believe every learner has a different pace, so I adapt my lessons accordingly. I focus on building strong basics, steady progress, and a comfortable learning environment. Students are encouraged to practice regularly and enjoy the process.
Outside teaching, I continue exploring different music styles and practicing regularly. This helps me bring new ideas into lessons. Teaching guitar is meaningful to me because I see students grow in both skill and confidence. Helping them enjoy music is truly rewarding.

My guitar lessons are designed to help students build a clear understanding of how to play with control and confidence. I guide learners through chord structures, rhythm patterns, finger placement, and timing using simple and practical methods. Each lesson focuses on making learning smooth and structured so students do not feel overwhelmed. I use slow practice techniques, repetition, and step-by-step breakdowns to build strong foundations. Students are encouraged to focus on accuracy before speed, which helps improve their overall playing quality.
Lessons are customized based on the student’s level and learning goals. Beginners work on basic chords, simple strumming patterns, and easy songs. Intermediate learners improve chord transitions, picking styles, and rhythm precision. Advanced students focus on improvisation, lead guitar techniques, and expressive playing. Each session includes guided exercises, feedback, and correction support. This helps students stay consistent and motivated in their learning journey.
Learning guitar also helps students grow creatively and confidently. They begin to explore their own musical style and express ideas through sound. Many develop patience and discipline as they improve. My goal is to make guitar learning enjoyable and meaningful. Students learn to connect with music while building strong skills.
