About Lynn
I am a professional singing tutor with over 14 years of experience, teaching college students to grow as confident and expressive singers. I focus on breath control, pitch accuracy, vocal tone, range, and emotional interpretation, helping students perform with skill and confidence.
My lessons are interactive and creative. I use exercises like vocal improvisation, recording sessions, and song interpretation to make learning practical and engaging. Lessons are personalised to fit each student’s goals, pace, and strengths, ensuring continuous improvement.
Performance skills are a central part of my teaching. I help students develop stage presence, expressive delivery, and confidence for recitals, competitions, and auditions. Music theory and ear training are integrated to strengthen their understanding of the music they perform.
I encourage students to explore various genres and develop their personal style. Over the years, I have helped students achieve success while fostering a love for singing.
My teaching philosophy emphasises creativity, encouragement, and accountability. I aim to make every lesson enjoyable, inspiring, and effective, helping students grow into skilled, confident, and expressive singers.

My teaching approach to Singing is clear, supportive, and learner-focused. I use strong communication to explain vocal techniques such as breathing, pitch control, tone quality, and voice projection. I make sure students understand each concept clearly and feel confident to ask questions.
Creativity is encouraged through vocal warm-ups, expressive singing, and song interpretation. I help students explore their natural voice and build confidence in performance.
Cultural sensitivity is very important in my teaching. I respect every student’s musical background and welcome songs from different cultures and languages. This helps students feel comfortable and motivated.
Accountability is maintained through goal setting, regular practice routines, and continuous feedback. Along with singing, I also teach basic music theory, rhythm skills, ear training, and voice care.
