About Nicole
I am an experienced early learning teacher with a Bachelor of Education from University of Alberta. I have worked with children and youth from ages 5-12 years old in different capacities, more recently teaching full-day Kindergarten in Edmonton, AB. Currently, I am a substitute teacher for the Calgary Board of Education.

The classes I teach are meant for students in grades K-6 (all core elementary subjects) My teaching methods include flexibility, organization and are tailored to each student. Each class I will allow for review and check for understanding before proceeding onto the next stage of the lesson. I believe in using a variety of visuals and learning tools that are needed for success. My lessons are at the student's speed and level so that they feel confident and not overwhelmed with the content. Overall, I like to be creative, fun and use a variety of ways to achieve goals while following the student's lead.
