About Emma
My interest in economics developed when I started learning about how economic decisions influence societies and global markets. I became particularly interested in understanding how market systems function and how economic policies affect financial stability and development. This interest encouraged me to pursue higher education and complete a Master’s degree in Economics.
During the past 7 years, I have taught students from different academic levels and helped them improve their understanding of economic theory and real-world applications. Many learners initially find economics challenging due to graphs and analytical reasoning, so I focus on explaining concepts step by step and connecting them to everyday examples.
Outside teaching, I enjoy following global economic developments and learning about financial trends and policies. Staying informed allows me to bring current examples into my lessons. Helping students understand the economic forces that shape the modern world is one of the most rewarding aspects of my teaching experience.

Economics helps explain how individuals, businesses, and governments make decisions about the use of limited resources. My lessons focus on helping students understand key economic principles such as supply and demand, market structures, production decisions, economic growth, and government policies. Rather than memorizing theoretical definitions, students learn how economic concepts influence real-world situations such as pricing, employment, and business strategies.
Lessons include discussions, graphs, and problem-solving activities that help students interpret economic ideas more clearly. Beginners start with fundamental concepts such as scarcity, opportunity cost, and basic market interactions. Intermediate learners explore topics like elasticity, production costs, and consumer behavior. Advanced students analyze macroeconomic concepts such as inflation, unemployment, fiscal policy, and international trade.
As students develop their understanding of economics, they begin to recognize how economic forces shape everyday life and global markets. This awareness helps them interpret financial news and understand economic policies. My goal is to help students develop strong analytical thinking and confidence in studying economics.
