About Harper
My interest in economics began when I started learning about how economic systems influence societies and global markets. I became particularly interested in understanding how businesses make decisions, how governments design policies, and how financial markets respond to economic changes. This curiosity motivated me to pursue higher education in economics and eventually complete a Master’s degree in the subject.
Over the past 7 years, I have taught economics to students from different academic levels and helped them develop a clearer understanding of economic theory and real-world applications. Many learners initially find economics challenging because it involves graphs, analytical thinking, and theoretical models. To help students overcome these challenges, I focus on explaining concepts step by step and connecting them with practical examples from everyday life.
Outside teaching, I enjoy following global economic news and learning about financial policies, economic development, and international trade trends. Staying informed about these topics allows me to introduce relevant examples into my lessons. Helping students understand how economic principles shape modern society is one of the most rewarding parts of my teaching experience.

Economics is the study of how individuals, businesses, and governments manage limited resources to meet their needs and goals. My lessons focus on helping students clearly understand important economic concepts such as supply and demand, market structures, consumer behavior, production decisions, economic growth, inflation, and government policies. Instead of simply memorizing definitions and theories, students learn how these economic ideas apply to real-world situations such as pricing, employment, business strategies, and global trade.
During lessons, students explore economic concepts through discussions, graphical analysis, and practical examples that make complex ideas easier to understand. Beginners begin with fundamental topics such as scarcity, opportunity cost, and basic market interactions. Intermediate learners study elasticity, production costs, and different types of market competition. Advanced students examine macroeconomic concepts including national income, unemployment, fiscal policy, and international trade. Practice questions and analytical exercises help students strengthen their reasoning and critical thinking skills.
As students continue studying economics, they begin to understand how economic forces influence everyday life, from the prices of goods and services to government financial policies and international markets. Recognizing these connections helps learners develop a broader understanding of global economic systems. My goal is to help students build strong analytical abilities and confidence while studying economics.
