About Pratikshya
I’m Pratikshya. I’ve been teaching Economics and Business for over 3 years, helping students go from struggling with the subject to feeling confident in both their understanding and exams. I’ve worked with students who started at C, D and E grades and helped them progress to A and A*, and I’ve found that the biggest difference comes from learning to understand Economics rather than simply memorizing it.

My practical experience in tutoring began through volunteer tutoring programmes and helping classmates prepare for their final examinations, and has since grown into teaching students across International GCSE, A-Level, IB, AP and university-level Economics.
Economics has been a subject I have pursued well beyond the classroom. I achieved an A* in A-Level Economics and was awarded Top in Country (Nepal) for Economics, as well as a 9/A* in GCSE Economics. My interest in the subject has also led me to take part in Economics Olympiads and academic competitions, and to work on Economics projects, research and thesis work, including work that received academic recognition. I genuinely enjoy exploring Economics beyond what is required for an examination, particularly understanding how economic ideas connect to real-world issues.
This is also reflected in how I teach. I like breaking down the reasoning behind economic concepts and then connecting them to diagrams, real-world examples, research and exam questions. Depending on the course and level, I work with students on building their foundations, developing analysis and evaluation, structuring essays, and preparing effectively for examinations.
