About Ting
Hi there! I’m Ting, a native Chinese speaker currently pursuing my Master's in Education at the University of Sydney. I hold a Primary and Secondary School Teaching Certification from China and a Mandarin Proficiency Certificate Level 2. With experience as a teaching assistant and teacher in China, I offer bilingual Mandarin lessons, using English explanations to make everything clear and understandable. My English proficiency is solid, with an IELTS score of 6.5, a PTE score of 72, and a Chinese national English proficiency level (TEM-8), so I can communicate confidently in both languages.
I love making lessons fun and engaging! Every class is tailored to your individual goals and level, whether you’re learning Mandarin for travel, daily conversations, or to immerse yourself in Chinese culture. I believe that enthusiasm and interest are the keys to learning, so I always bring a positive, energetic, and supportive attitude to every lesson.
