About Tanuj
Seeing my students grow, achieve their goals, and gain confidence gives me so much joy. Over my time at the Gibson House Museum where I created and facilitated educational activities for children and my time at the North York Community House where I volunteer as a tutor, I have seen my students grow and become the people they want to be, and this filled me with joy. This is why I decided to study Education and want to continue my work as a tutor.

Learning should always be an exciting experience not a stressful one. In my experience as a tutor, I know that every student learns in a different way. I make sure to get to know my students and create custom lesson plans that compliment their learning styles.
In a typical lesson, I go over the concepts and also the reasoning behind them. Then I work through sample questions with the student to assess their understanding and fill in any gaps in their knowledge. Lastly, I allow the student to try some questions for themself with my guidance to ensure a complete understanding.
