About Darren
I have recently returned from teaching in South East Asia. Where for twelve years I worked as an EFL teacher and business English teacher. For the last 7 years, I worked at a private all-girls school teaching the Cambridge English Curriculum and after school, I did some private and group tutoring. In the evenings and weekends, I taught business English and IELTS at multinational companies and Thai companies. Since I've been back, I have doing some supply teaching at local schools in my area.

In the classroom, I strive to help student’s confidence, so they have no fear when learning English whilst also creating a trusting atmosphere through sensitivity to students' strengths, weaknesses and personal learning styles. To encourage the students to learn I use humour and fun activities which are designed for maximum interaction in small and large groups.
