About Laura
My name is Laura and I am a passionate teacher and learner from Austria. I am currently based in a London primary school as a teaching assistant to broaden my horizons about the UK school system. My love for learning, in particular languages and psychology, made me choose my current career path and I love every part of it. Have you ever explained something to someone and experienced a little light bulb turning on in their heads? These are the moments I live for in teaching and thus I want to bring them to you!

Teaching methodology: student-centred (exploring strengths and areas where support is needed) individually tailored lessons (strongly based on students' needs and interests) variety of methods (computer-based, books-based, interactive language games, oral activities, creative writing...) Typical length of a lesson is 60 mins. Bachelor of Education for primary and secondary school teaching in English as a foreign language and Nutrition. First part of studies in Law in France. My lessons are for every age group as I am experienced in teaching and tutoring primary school kids to adults who want to brush up their language skills or learn a new language.

Laura worked for me locally as a tutor in German, English and French at all school levels in individual and group lessons. In addition, Laura has successfully delivered an English course for adults at my institution, Privatunterricht Kaiser. Furthermore, Laura also taught mathematics up to upper secondary level. Laura's teaching incorporates creative and personalized teaching methods and is therefore highly student-centered. She takes the time to work with each student to identify their strengths and to work out ways together to support the student in their subject. She is highly trained, very flexible in terms of online and face-to-face teaching and adapts her approach to the individual needs of her students. I can highly recommend Laura for any age group!
