About Georgii
I am a professional musician from Ukraine, with experience as a teacher, session musician, bandleader, arranger.
Since I was little I studied classical music in Ukrainian culture, which is very demanding, hence I have a deep knowledge of the development of the technique. I put a lot of emphasis on sound and time.
Now I am studying jazz at Conservatori Liceu, most of all, I focus on improvisation and harmony.
Before I got to jazz I had rock, funk, and metal bands, so I have a certain understanding of modern language.

In short, my methodology consists of teaching music in a classical, strict, and efficient way. The development of hearing, technique, and the creative mind. For me, music is a language and I think that one has to learn it in the same way, that is, first to know the grammar and then to practice it a lot.
In my opinion, being able to read music and differentiate its important parts by ear (music theory, ear education) is essential, so music theory is going to be part of all kinds of classes.
In teaching I follow the methods of great teachers like Barry Harris, Charlie Banacos, Jeff Berlin, Janek Gwizdala, Anthony Muthurajah.
The teachers I had over the years taught me a rigorous work ethic, which, above all, is what I want to inspire in my students.
