About Honggoo
Hello! I am Honggoo and a 28-year-old man. I am from Jeju in Korea but also have lived in Busan and Seoul for my university and work.
I moved to Edinburgh for my master's degree about 3 years ago and then have worked as a power system engineer for around 2 years in the UK. I am a friendly and easy-going person so feel free to ask any questions if you have any.

Hi I am Honggoo from Korea, but have lived in the UK since July 2024. As a person who has practised English as my second language for my entire life, I know it is not easy to master another language. However, it's not impossible and I am here to help you:)
For the main target of my Korean classes, it will be pronunciation and daily conversation. But I am happy to help with writing and listening, but there would be some homework which you need to do before classes.
The main focus of my class:
- How to write and pronounce Korean alphabet
- How to speak Korean spelling and words properly
- General Korean grammar
- Practice daily conversation in Korean
- Listening practice with video study materials
