About Maura
am a ceritfed teacher who resides in the state of Pennsylvania. I have had my teaching license since 2014. After college I taught in a special education school, and two private schools. I also started after school tutoring when I was in high school. Then COVID hit and I decide to make this my full time passion . During the first year of COVID I was the teacher for a family I've known for 10 years now at the time teaching their academic subjects. They ended up going back into school but I still provide educational support after school hours and during the summer. This school year is my third year with a family. I teach thier child math, history and language arts. I am their main teacher working for them 15-20 hours a week. I also work for many other familes on a daily basis. I am a huge advocate for learning as I have a processing disorder myself.
My rate is $40 an hour small discount for more hours.. In my rate includes weekly lesson plans, materials and memberships to a few educational websites.
