About Shannon
I spent 20 years teaching at the elementary level. I taught 1st grade for 15 of those years. During that time, I worked with hundreds of students helping them build skills and confidence as they became stronger readers and writers. I have a bachelor's and a master's degree in elementary education.

I have worked with struggling students across the elementary level. I can help your child gain skills in reading with phonics, fluency, decoding, and more. I can also assist with writing at any level. As a veteran teacher, I have been trained in many programs and can help and advise you on next steps for your child's journey to become a successful reader and writer.
