About Tanisha
Greetings, fellow yogis and yoginis! It brings me immense joy to share a glimpse into my journey as a yoga tutor. Over the past five years, I've had the privilege of guiding students on their yoga journey, helping them find peace, strength, and balance on and off the mat.
My own love affair with yoga began during a period of personal growth and self-discovery. I found solace and inspiration in the practice, and it quickly became a cornerstone of my life. Yoga has been my anchor through life's ups and downs, teaching me resilience, compassion, and the profound connection between mind, body, and spirit.
Originally from a small town with a big heart, I've always been drawn to the transformative power of yoga and its ability to bring people together. This sense of community and connection infuses my teaching, as I strive to create a warm and inclusive space where everyone feels welcome and supported.
When I'm not on the mat, you'll often find me exploring new hiking trails, indulging in my love for creative writing, or savoring a cup of chai with loved ones. I believe in living yoga both on and off the mat, finding balance, joy, and gratitude in every moment.

As a yoga tutor, my approach is rooted in the belief that yoga is a journey of self-discovery and self-care. In my classes, I aim to create a nurturing environment where students can explore their practice with curiosity, compassion, and a sense of playfulness.
I place a strong emphasis on breath awareness and mindfulness, guiding students to connect with their breath as a source of strength and presence throughout their practice. Each session is thoughtfully crafted to offer a blend of dynamic movement, grounding poses, and moments of deep relaxation, allowing students to explore the full spectrum of the yoga experience.
I believe in honoring the unique needs and abilities of each student, offering modifications and variations to support individual growth and exploration. Whether you're brand new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, my classes are designed to meet you where you are and empower you to embrace your practice with authenticity and joy.
My goal as a yoga tutor is not only to help students build physical strength and flexibility but also to cultivate greater self-awareness, resilience, and inner peace. Through the practice of yoga, I aim to empower students to tap into their inner wisdom, find balance in body and mind, and live life with intention and purpose.
