About Charlotte
I am an Emerson Alum with a degree in Visual Media Arts and a minor in Comedic Arts. I have worked for a major late-night television show and currently write my own original series. I have experience pitching to television networks including Adult Swim and Comedy Central, as well as production companies including Peacock and NBC.
I have helped several students land high-profile internships in television and have guided many more to industry jobs and opportunities.
I also have experience producing stand-up comedy shows in New York City.

No one can write what you can write. This is about YOUR VOICE, but we all need a little help finding it at first. Together we will learn the basics of script formatting and break down the essentials of storytelling with short-story exercises and slowly build to complete a project you are proud of. Whether it be an original pilot, a portfolio of skits, or a feature-length script, I will work with you to make it happen. I can also offer networking advice and prepare you for a pitching room if that is the route you'd like to go.
Lessons with me are ideal for high school students wanting to learn the basics of script writing, and current film students who want extra help or practice with finding their voice. I am also a great resource for those wanting an extra pair of eyes on a current project.
I am particularly experienced with comedy and have ample experience with late-night style comedy. My style of teaching is brutally honest but constructive. You will never be told you are bad at this, but you will be told where you can improve.
