About Valerio

I’m Valerio Alessandri, a professional counsellor and art counsellor, qualified at Aspic Milano and accredited with BACP in the UK and REICO in Italy. I’ve always had a passion for personal growth, and even outside of my profession, I’ve found great fulfilment in supporting people on their journeys of change and self-discovery.

My own life journey has led me to face many challenges, including significant transitions, relocations, unconventional career paths, and moments of personal growth centred around authenticity, change, independence, and relationships. These experiences have taught me the value of vulnerability, authenticity, and connection, while also strengthening my sensitivity and adaptability. In my work as a counsellor, I help people reconnect with their authenticity, supporting them as they navigate life’s changes or overcome challenges in their relationships.

I have a holistic approach, considering all aspects of a person—the body, mind, emotions, spirituality, and their relationships with others and the world around them. I guide those who choose to embark on a journey of personal growth towards a more authentic and fulfilling life. I integrate creativity and artistic skills into my practice, drawing on my experience as a singer (I’m also a vocal coach and songwriter) and in the arts more broadly, including dance and acting. I deeply believe that everyone has the resources within themselves to take action and transform difficulties into opportunities for growth.

I use all the tools I’ve gained throughout my life to support those who wish to discover and develop their inner strengths, helping them create a more satisfying life that aligns with their true essence.
