About Erin
Hi! I'm Dr. Erin Garcia and as an experienced Director of a Gap Year Program focused on students with learning differences, I've honed my skills in supporting neurodivergent students with learning differences throughout all of their transitional phases. Now, as an Executive Function and College Transition Coach, I specialize in guiding students through the challenging journey from high school to college, ensuring a smooth transition into post-secondary education. All of my leadership roles in education have equipped me with the expertise to develop tailored strategies for students with diverse learning needs through all facets of life. Through collaborative curriculum design and implementation, I fostered executive functioning skills essential for college success. I understand the unique challenges neurodivergent students face during the transition to higher education, and I'm dedicated to providing compassionate and expert guidance to ease this process.

Each student's coaching is as individual as their own learning needs and differences, that is why all executive functioning skill development is done through a self-designed coaching methodology. Meaning that coaching is designed to put the student at the forefront of their own learning, which exponentially increases motivation and comprehension.
I offer a structured series of phone or Zoom sessions aimed at empowering college freshmen with essential tools. From time management to self-advocacy, I equip students with the skills needed to thrive academically and socially. My background as a person with a learning difference gives me a unique insight into the struggles neurodivergent students face, ensuring that I approach each student's journey with empathy and expertise, bridging the gap between home and campus life.
Together, we'll navigate the complexities of college life, ensuring that every student feels supported and empowered to succeed. Whether it's deciding on course loads, managing relationships with professors, or finding the right college fit, I'm here to provide objective, compassionate guidance every step of the way. With College Transition Coaching, your student can confidently embrace their college experience, free from overwhelm, anxiety, and isolation.
