About Emily
I have a lot of experience teaching and understand that everyone has different goals and expectations. I like to work with the student to work towards their own goals and hopefully even surpass them!
EMS is a small world and you will meet a lot of people. I have a large list of contacts that I can also reach out to should you have more questions on specific topics!
Fun fact: I have a BA in History from university. This may seem like it has no connection, but this BA also gives me specific methods of writing and documentation that are vital in the EMS world.

In lessons, we can review topics you struggle with/feel you need more work on. This can range from memorization to scenario-based questions. I utilize a wide variety of resources to help study and can even create additional lesson plans for the student!
We also will go over the proper way to approach answering EMT test questions as well as the ways the test wants you to answer and how you would approach the same scenario in the field.
Students will also be given tips, tricks, and advice on what to know for when they enter the field and also gain knowledge and how school and the field differ so they can fully be prepared to enter the EMS world!
I used to run study groups while in my program and was known for being one of the top students. I continue my education both in the field and at home, using a wide variety of materials to help improve my EMS knowledge!
