I've been playing guitar for over 20 years, but I never took the time to study music theory properly—and I now realize how much I was missing. Tamryn has been an incredible tutor. She's friendly, easy-going, and very professional. What really stood out to me is how clearly she explains the concepts. She broke down the basics of music theory in a way that was both simple and complete—exactly what I needed.

Her lessons have made a huge difference, especially in my singing (where we focused). I’m still no great singer, but now I understand things that I never quite grasped before, and that’s given me the confidence to sing while playing guitar—especially around a fire on the beach with friends, which is something I truly enjoy.

Since i've been working with Tammy my guitar , piano and voice skills have improved like never before. I'd been playing both instruments for many years but i never felt confident at playing or singing in public. Tammy has helped me find my voice with simple yet effective advice. After 2 years of regular classes, i can now play and sing over 15 of my favorite songs in public with confidence. She just knows how to make learning a fun experience, and how to explain music theory in a way that is accessible. She understood what i needed from the start in order to get to the next level. I might even want to get on a real stage soon (;

Tamryn makes learning music a magical experience, not only for the extensive knowledge she has of music but also for being passionate about it. Tamryn is a truly exceptional music teacher. She gives percussion lessons to my 9-year-old son Makai and general music lessons to my 7-year-old daughter Jamilia.
