About Mackenzie
I earned my undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin and I majored in biomedical engineering. I am currently in dental school working towards my DDS. I tutor because I love math and science and I want to help others to understand and love these subjects as well. I have been tutoring for one year now and my favorite subjects are calculus, pre-calculus, chemistry, biology, and anatomy. I can also help with SAT and ACT prep.

In our first session, I attempt to understand your level understanding through practice problems and talking out concepts. From there, we can either follow your homework assignments or study guides or I will devise my own lesson plan. Typically I allow you to solve the problem on your own and talk through it with you as we go through to assist and make sure you understand it. Whenever we find a tougher area, we will do extra practice to ensure you become truly comfortable with it.
