About George
I am a graduate from the University of Exeter. I achieved a 2:1 in BSc (Hons) Renewable Energy which was an engineering degree with additional modules such as energy policy and finance to cover the full breadth of the industry. This course was maths and science heavy covering both pure and applied modules.
I have since worked in Myanmar as a Solar PV design engineer, as well as an independent documentary film maker.

I think Maths and Physics are largely underappreciated subjects in schools thanks to the nature in which they are taught; just to pass exams. Whilst I recognize the importance of this and look to help my students achieve as high a grade as possible, I hope to inspire them to work hard by helping them appreciate these subjects in the bigger picture.
I teach Maths and Physics up to A2 level. My initial approach is to gain an insight into the students understanding of the subject and identify their strengths and weaknesses. I will then work with them to help them gain a strong understanding of some of their weaker topics whilst reinforcing the areas they have a better grasp of.
