About John
I am a Mechanical Engineering graduate of the Federal University of Technology, Akure. I have been a private tutor for a year, majorly teaching Mathematics to primary and junior secondary school students. I have worked in other capacities as an Engineering graduate intern at NNPC and Naval dockyard limited.

I teach carefully. I am aware that each student assimilate at different rates, which I assess and teach based on this. I make use of a lot of aids such as pictures, graphs, objects to explain complex concepts. I collect feedback from the student, to know his/her level of understanding of a subject, the teaching techniques the student responds to best and the student's progress since I started tutoring him/her. I research online on new techniques used to solve problems especially suited for students in primary and junior secondary education levels. I use correct terminologies which are properly verified. I show the relationships between topics being taught and give real life applications for better understanding.
