About Gareth
My friends call me Gary and you're welcome to as well.During my school years I was considered gifted and as such didn't have to put much effort into subjects such as Science and Maths. I discovered ways of making Maths easy and tricks to help me remember equations.
Returning to education myself now I'd like to help other achieve their potential and whilst tutoring become a better learner myself.
I am patient, speak clearly and without a strong accent. And I sincerely look forward to meeting my new students in class.

Durations of lessons are between 45mins-1 hour 30mins depending of the subject matter, availability and students progress.
Lessons are taught online by means of Xoom or Skype with the use of a digital whiteboard. After an explanation of a topic I work through a series of problems with the student then give them some problems to see if they can do them on their own. Progression is made by the students rate of learning and not on any prescribed time table.
I've been tutoring on and off for 20 years and over 3 continents both in classroom, privately and online. I hold a HND in project management, and I am also a returning student myself doing a Bachelors of Engineering.
My lessons are designed for students 13+ that are preparing for their GCSE's at both lower and upper tier. I can work with students that are struggling with Maths or with those looking to push forward and achieve high grades.
