About Noelia
I am an engineering student who is passionate about languages. I spent a year living and studying in Brussels and also another 4 months in Montreal, where I experienced first hand how great and important it is to know the local language to be able to communicate with others.
I am patient when teaching people and for me the most important aspect is that you have fun while learning a foreign language. This means, that it's also important to have conversations with native people, to watch films with and without subtitles and to read some books, if possible.
The most important part for success is to practice regularly, even if it doesn‘t seem like a lot of time spent. Eventually, even small steps will lead to great results and enable you to communicate in your new language.

Hello my name is Noelia, I am a native spanish speaker from Sevilla. I am passionate about languages and had lots of fun learning many different ones such as French, English and Dutch. For this reason, I also really enjoy teaching my native language to students willing to learn it. I really like to teach a language by using examples and also comparing Spanish to other languages already known by the student. In my opinion it is important to learn grammar and vocabulary before starting to have long conversations, but it is also important to try and force yourself to talk at an early stage even though you might feel like your vocabulary is still limited.
So a typical lesson could start by explaining a grammar topic, then some we’d do some exercises to use the vocabulary and finally a bit of conversation in the end to really get you used to speaking.
I could teach any level of Spanish, but I enjoy mostly teaching students with a B1/B2 level, to correct occurring errors and to explain how to avoid them.
