About Maliah
I'm a dedicated and passionate tutor who believes that every student has the potential to succeed with the right guidance and support. I'm currently studying Engineering and Business at Southern Cross University, where I consistently achieve High Distinctions across all of my subjects. I also completed Extension Math and Physics in high school, which gave me a strong foundation in the subjects I now love to teach. I’ve been tutoring since high school, helping students from primary school through to Year 12. I know what it feels like to be stuck on a concept, and I love being able to break things down in a way that finally clicks for my students. My goal is to help you build confidence in your abilities, improve your understanding, and achieve the results you're capable of. Whether you're struggling to keep up, preparing for exams, or aiming to get ahead, I'm here to support you in a calm, respectful, and encouraging environment. As a tutor, my focus is on building strong foundations and helping students develop confidence in their learning. I use a clear, step-by-step approach that adapts to each student’s individual needs. Whether a student needs help grasping key concepts, preparing for exams, or improving problem-solving skills, I make sure they feel supported and engaged throughout the session.
Teaching Techniques and Methodology:
I break down complex topics into manageable parts using real-world examples.
I encourage active learning by asking questions, setting practice problems, and using visual aids when needed.
I tailor my teaching style to suit each student’s pace and preferred learning method (visual, hands-on, etc.).
I provide quick feedback and positive reinforcement to boost confidence and motivation.

Lesson Duration:
Lessons typically range from 45 minutes to 1.5 hours, depending on the student's needs, age, and focus area.
