About Dev
As an engineering student with a deep passion for STEM education, I focus on making challenging math and physics concepts intuitive and accessible. Having scored in the 99th percentile on highly competitive engineering entrance examinations, I have thoroughly mastered the rigorous core mechanics of calculus, physics, and advanced problem-solving strategies.
My academic background allows me to bring a high level of technical precision and real-world engineering context to every lesson. Over my time tutoring high school and undergraduate students, I have developed a supportive, patient, and highly structured teaching style. I understand exactly where students tend to get stuck because I have navigated these complex subjects myself.
My goal is not just to help you pass your next exam, but to help you build the fundamental problem-solving confidence needed to excel independently. I am dedicated to providing a professional, reliable, and engaging learning environment tailored to your individual academic goals.

My teaching approach focuses on building an intuitive, first-principles understanding of complex concepts rather than relying on rote memorization. Whether we are tackling advanced calculus, rotational mechanics, or electromagnetism, I specialize in breaking down challenging technical topics into clear, logical steps.
A typical 60-minute lesson is highly structured:
00–15 mins: Core concept review and identifying specific conceptual gaps.
15–40 mins: Real-time problem-solving and deriving key formulas together to understand the why behind the math.
40–55 mins: Guided practice with exam-style questions to build independent confidence.
55–60 mins: Summary of key takeaways and actionable feedback for independent study.
What sets my lessons apart is my background as an engineering student with a track record of scoring in the 99th percentile on highly competitive engineering entrance exams. Because I use these mathematical and physical frameworks daily, I can bridge the gap between abstract textbook theories and real-world intuition. I offer a relatable, peer-to-peer perspective that makes intimidating subjects highly approachable.
These lessons are perfectly suited for high school and undergraduate college students looking to master AP Calculus, AP Physics, or foundational engineering mathematics and physics courses.
