About Jemma
I recently finished my A levels and have now been offered a place at the University of Nottingham for Mechanical Engineering, starting in September. I studied Maths, Further Maths and Physics at A level and was awarded grades AAB.
In my time since college I have been learning to code, and throughout my time in Education I have helped many of my peers by explaining things in a more understandable way. I hope to apply these same principles here.

- I allow my students to attempt problems and talk me through their thought process so that I can identify what specifically they don't understand, and help them break down the problem effectively. My aim is to guide students through questions by identifying the concepts involved to increase their confidence in the subject.
- In my classroom, no question is a silly question and I will do my best to always answer to the best of my abilites, and be honest when I may need more time to give a better answer.
- I treat my students with kindness and respect, and I hope that they will do the same.
- Lessons last an hour with a 5 minute break in between to maintain focus. However, I am open to providing longer lessons at the student's request.
- I have A levels in Maths (A) and Further Maths (A) and some experience with private tutoring of primary school children.
- My lessons are aimed at GCSE and A level students.
