About Peyton
I am a current English Education major at NC State University. I began tutoring in high school, with my school's National Honors Society program. I took several A.P. English classes, earning 4s on my exams and As in my classes, and graduated with a 3.98 unweighted GPA. I also received a 35 on the English portion of my ACT test, as well as a 33 on the Reading portion. I have worked with autistic children as well, having helped a young child with his online schooling this past year. As I am aiming to be an English teacher in the future, I am very passionate when it comes to teaching students.

My teaching method is based on being flexible and customizing how I teach with each student. I make sure to help my students to be able to problem-solve, as well as to be able to have a complete understanding of the material as to be able to go into academic tests with as much confidence as possible.

Details
If a student is looking for help with college courses, I charge an increased rate of $20/hour. For cancellations, I ask to be notified at least 24 hours in advance. If this is not possible, I charge $5 per each previously agreed upon hour (i.e., if we agreed upon a 2-hour tutoring session I would charge $10 for a cancellation that was not notified to me 24 hours in advance).
