About Elisha

I am an English Educator with a background in Life Orientation so I apply life lessons in my teaching. I have 9 years of teaching experience as both a tutor and educator, I have brought a learner on the brink of failing to reach their potential by obtaining an A aggregate. I am passionate and driven, I believe teaching is my calling. I am easy to talk to which makes teaching and learning more comfortable allowing my students to excel and enjoy the subject, I am a firm believer that every learner is unique and learns in different styles and at a different pace therefore I tailor lessons to the needs of the student. I look at teaching as an opportunity to impact the lives of others in a positive way. I look forward to engaging and interacting with you.

Innovation is key. Simplistic teaching methods that ensure the learner can fully understand what is being taught. Learning made fun by learning through games and activities that are relevant to the content being taught. I make use of a learner centered approach as well conducting lessons in a relaxed manner allowing for comfort to ensure maximum potential is reached.
