About RACHEL
COMMUNICATIVE APPROACH: The focus of my classes is communicative ability, so each class has acommunicative purpose, for example: talking about your family, talking about professions, ordering from restaurants. I use grammatical and vocabulary points to organize the grammar curriculum cannot be ignored, without them we can't speak! I use PDF books mainly from the American English File collection to follow because I believe that a learning order is necessary but always exercising communicative skills in any activity. I also try to help my students improve their pronunciation and phonological understanding so they can effectively understand and be understood. In addition, I emphasize phonological understanding using online listening exercises, music, movie scenes, etc. For students who have a hard time communicating and forming sentences, we can do more traditional repetition exercises until the student gains confidence.

My name is Rachel Dodeles, I am Brazilian and I learned English in the USA, where I lived from 7 to 11 years old, which allowed me to have proficient English with a natural accent. Cursei Lyrics - Portuguese / English at the Veiga de Almeida University (RJ).
