Hi! I'm Amy, currently studying English and Film Studies in UCD. I love breaking down poetry and delving into ideas that each student may have, but can also help with Shakespearean texts and films that may appear in the course.

I like to break down sections that students struggle with in a way they understand, finding if they are a visual, auditory, or written learner is key. Supporting self-confidence and the ability to create ideas and understand themselves is the main target. For Junior Cert, targeting areas that are new - understanding poetry or looking at a film for the first time. For Leaving Cert - the breakdown of the paper and marking schemes and the layout of essays can be central.
