About Nimra
Hey, I’m Nimra. I’m a Year 12 student predicted AAA*A and I smashed my GCSEs in English Language and Literature. I know exactly what it takes to get top grades, and I love helping students figure it out too. My lessons aren’t just about reading and writing, they’re about actually understanding English and feeling confident doing it. I’m all about explaining things clearly, breaking down tricky essays, spotting what examiners really want, and giving feedback that actually makes a difference. Lessons with me are interactive, practical, and honestly fun. You’ll leave feeling way more confident and ready to tackle your exams. If you want someone who’s passionate, knows their stuff, and can make English less scary while helping you get results, that’s me.

I believe tutoring should feel engaging, supportive, and tailored to each student. My approach combines clear explanation, active discussion, and plenty of practice to build both confidence and skill. I use a mix of essay breakdowns, language analysis, and exam-style practice to make English accessible and enjoyable Methodology: I focus on identifying each student’s strengths and weaknesses early on. Lessons are interactive. We go through examples together and build independence step by step. I provide targeted exam practice and detailed feedback so students know exactly how to improve Lesson length: Typically 1 hour but can be adjusted depending on the student’s needs Experience and qualifications: I am a Year 12 student predicted A* A* A* A and achieved top GCSE grades in the Humanities subjects. I have experience tutoring peers and younger students and understand what exam boards are looking for Who it’s for: GCSE students in Years 10 and 11 With me, lessons are about gaining confidence and enjoying English while achieving the best results possible
