About Anzala
About Me & Why I Teach
I hold a Master’s degree in English Literature (with Distinction) and a Bachelor’s in English Language Teaching, complemented by certification in Child Psychology. Over the past six years, I have worked with diverse learners as an international tutor, academic lead, and published writer and editor. Words have always been my craft, whether I am analyzing classic texts, writing for national publications, or designing curriculum.
Why I Share My Knowledge
I teach because I believe language is the ultimate tool for self-discovery and agency. Too often, school curricula reduce beautiful literature to rote chapter summaries and turn writing into rigid, anxiety-inducing formulas. When students are taught this way, they lose confidence in their own voice.
My goal is to change that. I want to pass on the joy of critical thinking and the power of articulate expression. For me, the most rewarding moment is not just seeing a student jump a grade band on an exam, but watching them realize that their thoughts, arguments, and creative ideas actually matter—and that they have the exact words to make the world listen.
