I am a graduate of UCD with a first class honours B.A in English Literature and Film Studies, and a first class honours M.A. in English Literature and Culture.
I am also a published writer, my work featuring in the Poetry Ireland Review, The Honest Ulsterman, An Capall Dorcha, Hot Press Magazine, and HeadStuff

I feel the most important skill a writer can learn is to be critical of their work and edit effectively. To this end my classes will involve modules on editing and rewriting, form and structure, narrative, voice, and more practical advise on publishing and careers. This will also involve writing exercises designed to challenge and inspire students.
