About Jacob
Writing is a passion that grew and flourished the more I was around it. I fell in love with the workshop process in college and find it supremely satisfying to help others develop and fine tune their writing voice. Being a TA at CSU I learned a lot about how to best help my students, and found it most often to be a mutually enjoyable experience. Writing is one of those subjects that most either love or hate. If you love it like I do then we’re sure to get along. If you hate it then I promise to make the process as painless as possible and keep stumped aggravation to a minimum.

I use my experience as a Teacher’s Assistant at CSU to develop my lesson plans. For academic pieces I take each topic or prompt and focus on what aspect(s) of writing will provide the best approach to a successful paper. For creative pieces I focus on developing a strong voice while teaching story structure and deep thinking. My lessons are best for middle school through undergraduate students.
